da aviator aposta: On Tuesday evening, the club announced that Thomas Christiansen has brought in Chievo striker Caleb Ekuban on a four-year contract.
The 23-year-old underwent a medical this week, and now the deal has been finalised before the players fly to Austria for pre-season training on Friday.
Ekuban is not hugely well known as he has spent the majority of his career so far playing for lower-league Italian clubs and more recently for Partizani Tirana in Albania on loan.
Last season, the striker, who possesses strength and pace, scored 17 goals, and Christiansen will be hoping that he brings that form to England’s second tier.
The majority of Leeds fans are not completely sold on the idea of Ekuban coming to Elland Road.
The striker has become the club’s fourth new arrival since Christiansen became Garry Monk’s successor.
