da apostebet: Some Crystal Palace fans on Twitter don’t sound too pleased with Steve Parish’s comments about his plans for the club.
da bet vitoria: Speaking to London News Online, the Eagles chairman discussed the academy and plans to redevelop Selhurst Park.
“We have been talking to relevant people about the plans we have got for it [the academy], and they will be announced before Christmas in a big way.
“The stadium we are moving forward as well. With the team we have to try and be smart about the things that we do, while we build the club in other ways.”
These comments sound sensible enough, but it doesn’t seem as if some of the Palace fans on Twitter are in total agreement with them.
The south Londoners spent less than £5m back in the summer when bringing Gary Cahill and James McCarthy to the club, as well as making Jordan Ayew’s loan move into a permanent one.
Parish’s comments do sound as if the investment in new players will be taking a backseat whilst the academy and stadium take centre stage, with the part about needing to be “smart” potentially hinting at further shrewd deals in the market.
It is admirable that he is looking to improve other aspects of the club, but some Palace fans on Twitter don’t sound too pleased with the plans…
